The locked drawer

What this site collects

This catalogue is a set of static pages. There is no account to create, no basket, no newsletter form and no comment box, so there is nothing here for us to collect about you. We do not set advertising cookies and we do not run a tracking pixel for a third party.

Our hosting provider keeps ordinary server logs — a request time, a page path, a truncated network address — for a short period, in the way every web server has since the nineteen-nineties.

When you leave this site

Clicking through to our partner store takes you onto their domain, under their privacy policy and their cookie notice. Anything you type there — a name, an address, a card number — is handled by them, and we never see it.

We have no way of matching a visitor here to a shopper there, and no interest in doing so.

Writing to us

If you email the workshop, we keep the email for as long as it takes to resolve the thing you wrote about, plus a reasonable period in case you write again about the same kit. We do not add writers to any list. Ask us to delete the thread and we will.
