Crafting dreams since 2009 Build Your World, Piece by Piece
Every Flever dollhouse miniature kit on this site was drawn, cut, glued and photographed in one workshop by people who build the first one themselves before anybody else gets a box.
Flever began in 2009 around a kitchen table that nobody was allowed to clear. We were cutting parts by hand then, from drawings we had made ourselves, and the first few houses we built were crooked in ways we still recognise in photographs. The machines came later. The table, in spirit, never left.
Fifteen years on we design, cut, photograph and pack everything in the same workshop. The person who draws a room is usually the person who builds the first one, which is why the booklets read like somebody has actually made the thing — because they have.
A kit should contain everything it needs. We have all opened a box, got three hours in and discovered that the glue was sold separately, and we decided early that we would not do that to anybody. Furniture, fabric, plexiglass, glue, tweezers, light and battery pack go in every box.
A kit should also be honest about its difficulty. We would rather you bought a small room and loved it than bought a villa and quietly gave up on it. That is why the catalogue is grouped by format and why the category pages say plainly how long things take.
You are reading our catalogue. The buying, paying, shipping and after-sales side of things happens on our partner store, which is why every product page here sends you there to complete an order. That split lets us spend our time on drawing and cutting rather than on logistics.
What stays with us is the making, the instructions and the replacement parts. Write to us about a split panel or a dead light and you are writing to the people who cut it.
Seven shelves of DIY miniature house kits, all cut from the same drawings and the same board.
