Flever Forest Teashop — DIY Miniature Room Kit

$26.10

4.5 · 33 notes

Forest Teashop is green from floor to ceiling: a tea counter, a staircase wrapped in planting, hanging pots and a skylight that drops light into the middle of the room. The wood is left pale, which is unusual for us and is what makes the greenery read.

The climbing plants attach to the stair rail one stem at a time and that is where the character comes from. Nothing in the structure is difficult. We would call this a confident beginner's kit: easy shell, slow decor, and a finished piece that looks considerably harder than it was.

It sits mid-shelf of 35 room kits, builders have left it 4.5 out of five across 33 notes, and it is in stock as we write this.

We design every room the way we design our dollhouse kits: a story first, then the furniture that story needs, then the boxes of loose parts — flowers, jars, a folded newspaper — that make Forest Teashop look lived in. Everything in this DIY miniature house kit is cut in our own workshop, and we build one before we pack any.

What arrives in your Flever miniature kit

  • Numbered sheets of laser-cut MDF and card for the walls, floor and furniture.
  • Fabric, printed paper, paper flowers and the small decorations that dress the room.
  • An LED light wire with a battery pack for the house lights.
  • Glue, tweezers, double-sided tape and a sanding stick.
  • A clear plexiglass dust cover for the open front.
  • A step-by-step booklet with a photograph for every stage.

How the DIY build goes

  1. Decide where it will stand first — a bookshelf gap, a desk corner or a display cabinet — and filter this shelf by the size that fits.
  2. Pick the scene you would like to look at every day rather than the one with the most parts; a simple room you finish beats a crowded one you abandon.
  3. If this is a first DIY kit, choose something under forty dollars and keep the ambitious house for the second build.

Every Flever room kit is designed, cut and packed by the same small workshop, and we build one of each ourselves before it ever goes on sale.

Notes from people who built it

“I love that this dollhouse is like the classic ones I've been doing for years. I've noticed over the past year how "dumbed down" these sets are becoming, and it has honestly made me very sad! Its very nice to find one that is going to take me a few weeks to build. I love the detail and skill building these sets have.”

“Some of the wood pieces are very delicate and you need to be careful not to break them. However, it has a lot of color and very fine details! Pretty!”
