Roam Around in Winter is a travel scene in a tin: a snowed-in corner with a suitcase, a lamp post, a bench and a map pasted into the lid. The palette is grey-blue and cream, and it is the only cold-weather kit in our range.
The snow effect is applied at the end, which means you can judge how heavy you want it once everything else is in place. The build is short. Because the tin closes, it survives a shelf, a drawer or a suitcase without needing a cover.

A tin has room for one idea, so Roam Around in Winter is designed by subtraction: we draw the rooms of a larger dollhouse scene, then take away everything the story can live without, down to two paper flowers and a shelf of jars. Boxes this small still get the same build and the same booklet as our largest DIY miniature house kit.
